Obituary

Kasen Jerome Dedini, 42 of King City passed away February 7, 2026.  He was born, September 13, 1983 in King City, Calif.

He grew up in King City and was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy which affected his ability to work.  He was able to help his Dad by working with him doing side jobs. He chose the hard life, but he had a big heart and would give anyone his last $ or the shirt off his back.  He loved his music of all genres and would have it blasting all the time!  He loved to sing.  He would make up his own lyrics to the songs!  He would always tell stories with so much personality that he would definitely make you laugh.  He grew up riding dirt bikes, skateboards, and going hunting with step-father, and going to work with his uncle Frank in the semi-truck. He loved camping at the Indians and gambling. He loved going to Casinos whenever he could.

Kasen is survived by his son, Robin Smith (Kadance) of Fresno; sister, Jodi Dewey (Gerrod) of Hollister; brother, Robert Blohm, and step-father, Eddie Blohm both of Colorado; nephews, Dylan Alburger of Lockwood, Austin (Robin) and Josh Silva of King City, Noah Dewey of Hollister; niece, Jadeynn (Bryce) Worley of Aptos; cousins, Leeann and Michelle Irvine of King City, Pauly Herman of Pismo Beach, and Krista Hubbard of King City, Jamie (Rammy) Morrison of Texas, Bobbi Pura-Hicks of Bradley, Stephen (Caleigh) Pura of Atascadero, Lacie Pura (Misty) of San Lucas, Emily and Olivia Carota of Texas, Travis and Amanda Hicks of Bradley; uncles, Frank Martinez of Bakersfield, Randy Pura; aunts, Kathy Pura of Bradley, and Arlene Dedini (Susan).  Also, his cousins, Jill Stanford, James Morris, and Kaitlynn Salvagno of Greenfield who were more like a mother, brother and sister to Kasen.  He shared a special bond between them.

Kasen is preceded in death by his parents, Alan Dedini of Hollister and Nancy Blohm of Colorado; grandparents, Jerome and Betty Pura of King City, and Delwin and Winona Dedini of King City; aunt Janet Martinez of King City; uncle Jim Stanford of King City, and cousin, Stephen Pura of King City.
