Alice June Houx, 95 of King City passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side. June was born, December 21, 1923 in Payson, Utah.
June was married 70 years to Raymond "Rusty" Houx. During her working life she was employed by Eddie El Helou, Bob Gregory and Phil Vincenz EMCO. June loved work and hated retirement! She was a fantastic cook of the depression era.
June was a parishioner of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in King City; a founder of The Stage Hands along with Cindi Reeve and Bruce Graham in 1980.
June is survived by her sons, Raymond Craig Houx (Kay), David Baird Houx (Luci); daughter, Raye Ann Houx-Hatch (Lincoln); her beloved grandchildren, Orion Quill (Jessica), Shone Houx (Julie), Josh Hooton, Guy Hooton (Wendy), Tom Hooton, Bradi Houx; great grandchildren, Gatlin, Rob, Sierra, Claire, Ava, Indi, Hope and Faith. June was preceded in death by her husband Rusty in 2013.
Private family graveside services are planned.
