Obituary

On January 3, 2019 Mr. Juan A. Garza passed away in King City, Calif. He was born in Mission, Texas.

Juan began his career as a field supervisor for Meyer Tomatoes & worked there for 25 years, followed by a short tenure with Green Thumb Inc. After 3 years with Green Thumb, Juan retired due to illness.

Juan was a family man; the majority of his time was spent with his grandchildren. He was at his happiest, when the entire family was together under one roof, but would also settle for 1-2 grandkids sitting on his recliner with him.

Some of his favorite past-times included, assembling puzzles, waking up at 4 am serving himself a hot cup of coffee & sitting at the dining room table to paint. Those that knew Juan, knew that he loved to eat. He was a great cook and at his prime was the household BBQ King.

Juan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eulalia "Lala" M. Garza, they married April 16, 1969. He is also survived by his children, Cindy Garza, Lori Ann (Trinidad) Garcia, Juan Jr. (Monica) Garza, Leonardo (Myra) Garza, Inocencia "Chrissy" Garza, Johnny-Angel and Chloe Garza. He leaves behind, 16 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren whom he treasured. He's also survived by 4 siblings, Esperanza (Gregorio) Avila, Irma (Jesus) Lopez, Maria Elena Clark & Miguel Jr. (Maria) Garza & countless nieces & nephews.
