Josephine Hernandez Garcia, 88 of King City passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022.  She was born April 19, 1934 in King City.

She was a lifelong resident of King City and she worked as a Teacher's Aide for the King City Elementary School District for 30 years.  She truly loved being a grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ascencion Flores Garcia; sons, Raul Garcia, and Ascencion Hernandez Garcia; her grandchildren, Vanessa Garcia (Reeves), Maudessa Garcia, and Shawn Steinman; great grandson, Isaac Mathias Reeves; brother, Frank Padilla Sr.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Maria Hernandez and brothers, Lucas Padilla Jr. and Lorenzo Padilla.

A Rosary and Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City, CA 93930
