Jose Luis Serrato Cortes, 51 of Salinas, Calif. passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico.

Jose Luis enjoyed socializing with people.  He always spent time with his friends and family.  He worked in agriculture and drove truck.

He participated in the Sun Street Center program where he completed a 2 year program and received certificates of accomplishment and good behavior.

Jose Luis is survived by his daughter, Monique Villalobos; also seven brothers and six sisters.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary which will start at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 803 Elm Avenue, Greenfield, Calif.  Burial will follow in King City District Cemetery.
