Jose M. Rangel passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 in King City, California. He was 87 years old. He was born in Pihuamo, Jalisco, Mexico on October 4th, 1932.

Jose married Maria Mendoza on May 17, 1958. He was a family man who loved to tell jokes, "cuentos del rancho", and wanted the people who surrounded him to share his happiness.

He enjoyed most of his life as a vaquero and having his family and closest friends over for his famous carnitas.

Later in life at the age of 81 he dedicated his life to sharing the good news of the Bible as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He wanted others to share the same hope he had which is the promise to enjoy life as it was intended with perfect health and perfect living conditions and to do so with his family and friends. (Revelation 21:3,4)

Some of his more evident qualities were his generosity, sincere love for others, and his zeal for serving Jehovah God the best that he could.

He is survived by his 7 daughters and 2 sons. Amalia, Antonia, Vitalina, Martha Elena, Eleuteria, Norma Alicia, María Ventura, José Rafael, and Diego. As well as his 25 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
