Jose G. "Lupe" Hernandez, 57 of King City died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Jose was born September 17, 1957 in Nuevo Chupiquaro, GTO, Mexico. Many new him as "Lupe".
Lupe resided in King City since 1974. He worked on the Spur Ranch, east of King City on Bitterwater Road for 40 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, horseback riding, watching his favorite western movies and BBQing with his family and friends.
Lupe is survived by his daughters, Marisol, Betsy and Jarilynn; his mother, Eulalia Osornio Rosalez; brothers, Benny Hernandez, Sr. and George Hernandez; sisters, Araceli Luna, Auxilio Barrera, Socorro Hernandez, Maria Guadalupe Hernandez, Martha Hernandez and Dolores Hernandez.
Lupe enjoyed life to the fullest. Laughter was always around him. He will truly be missed. We will forever carry him in our hearts.
SERVICE INFORMATION:
A VISITATION will be held, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 5pm to 9pm at St. John's Catholic Church.
A RECITATION OF THE ROSARY will be held 7pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church.
A FUNERAL MASS will be held, 10am, Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church.
Please join us with your horse for a "FINAL RIDE" as we escort him with a horse and wagon down Broadway immediately following the Funeral Mass.
