Jorge Chavez, 46 of King City passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at his home.  Jorge was born December 9, 1974 in Mexico City, MX.

He was married for 20 years to Esmeralda Esparza.  Jorge was a hard working construction worker.  He was perfectionist.  With his work he would always have to get everything ready the day before.  He couldn't think of anything else but his work and making sure everything was ready.  He loved riding bikes with his children and racing with them either running or on their bikes.  He loved to challenge all his family on any activities.  He loved to play billiards with his brothers-in-law because he knew he would win every time.  He enjoyed going to the beach. He would say it brought him peace.  He loved to sing and dance to 90's music.  Most of all he had a secret crush on Mexican singer Jenny Rivera and Michael Jackson was his inspiration for his dance moves, even if he couldn't dance.  He loved spending all his time with his kids and nephews.  He was a Kid at heart.  He will be missed by many.

Jorge is survived by his wife, Esmeralda; children, Jorge Jr., Emanuel, Fabian, Max; nephews, Alyses, Duke, Erika, Eli, Orlando, Nico; brothers-in-law, Luis, Ramon, Miguel; sister-in-law, Lorena; co-sisters-in-laws, Danielle, Maria and Sierra.

A visitation with limited attendance will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14 ^th , at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel.  A Rosary and Mass will be held on Friday, January 15 ^th , at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City.  Burial will follow in the King City Cemetery.
