Johnny Perry, 63 of Paso Robles passed away peacefully in the comfort of Vineyard Hills Care Center in Templeton. He was blessed honored by the company of many friends and loved ones during his illness.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE:
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Templeton Community Park, Templeton, Calif.
Johnny was born and raised in Paso Robles and attended and graduated from Templeton High School. While working for the Paso Robles School District, he was asked to use his artistic talent to hand paint the Bearcat logo on the War Memorial football field in the 1970s. He built his own skateboards and dared skateboarding adventures with his friends Kent Black and Martin Padilla on Cypress Mt. Road. He served in the California National Guard. He worked for Paso Robles School District for many years. Johnny worked as a tree trimmer for Arbor Tree Surgery. He worked as an independent tree arborist in his later years.
Johnny was preceded in death by his beloved mother Lois Perry and father Johnnie Perry of Paso Robles.
He is survived by his brother Mark Perry of Paso Robles and best friends Anthony Corley and Ron Domingos.
There will be a celebration of his life in April, date pending.
