IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John Andrew
Serritelli, Jr.
May 10, 1989 – February 18, 2026
Born in Palm Springs, California on May 10, 1989, John Andrew Serritelli, Jr. struggled to come into this world but left this world peacefully at his home on February 18, 2026. He was 36.
His entry into this world was filled with lots of commotion, excitement and uncertainty as he was rushed from the delivery room to the nursery where he remained for 5 days before coming home on Mother’s Day, May 1989. He was the first born to his parents, John Andrew Serritelli, Sr. and Karen (Krehbiel) Serritelli. Johnny’s first 2 years were spent living in the Palm Springs area before moving to King City where his mother and her family hailed from.
Johnny lived his entire life in King City and the surrounding area. His childhood was filled with friends, little league and cub scouts. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and by age 10 had broken 5 bones!! He graduated high school, worked for Krehbiel Automotive and eventually, following in his father’s footsteps, joined the King City Fire Department.
Johnny loved playing golf as part of the KCHS golf team and with his father. He enjoyed camping and fishing and spent every summer of his childhood at his mother’s family wilderness retreat, Webber Lake. He was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49’ers. He was a kind, sensitive and loving human being. Always available to help and root for the underdog.
He was blessed with two children, Zayden Andrew Serritelli (16) and McKenna May Serritelli(13).
He is survived by his mother, Karen (Krehbiel) Serritelli, his brother Sean Serritelli and his sister Katie (Serritelli) Zelaya and brother Ellis Serritelli. His children, Zayden and McKenna and his ex-wife Michelle.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Andrew Serritelli, Sr. and his two grandmothers, Carol Krehbiel and Dinah Serritelli.
He leaves behind a hole that can never be filled. He is at peace now. Be kind to one another and know that Johnny would want that for us all.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
