Joanne Frances Garcia, 83 of King City passed away on March 7, 2016. She was born on February 10, 1933 in King City.

As a child she lived in San Lucas with her parents Xavier and Pearl Marbach. Joanne attended grade school in San Lucas and then King City High School.

Joanne met and married the love of her life, Gilbert Garcia in 1949. They were married 58 years until Gilbert's death in 2007. Together, they had seven children.

Joanne worked as a Nurses Aid at George L. Mee Memorial Hospital, which of all her jobs she loved the most. She worked at Basic American Foods as a Lab Technician for many years. She also worked in the cafeteria at San Antonio School preparing lunches for the children.

Joanne's first love was raising her children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and entertaining friends and family at the Ranch. Joanne loved watching her Denver Broncos and Giants with her son Timothy.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Sharon Hearne (Dennis) of King City; sons, Ricky Garcia (Cheryl) of King City, Steven Garcia (Sammie) of St. George, Utah; Twenty grandchildren and Twenty-nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Garcia; sons, Ronald Garcia, Timothy Garcia, Joseph Garcia; daughter, Kathryn Garcia; her parents, Xavier and Pearl Marbach; brothers, Jack Marbach, William Marbach and sister, Kathryn Gaisford.

A Private Celebration of life was held on March 12th, 2016.
