Gerald "Jerry" Ralph Olson, 61 of King City passed away at his home on Friday, November 4, 2016. He was born November 11, 1954 in Boise, Idaho.

Jerry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, camping and fishing. He was a lifelong aviation enthusiast. He received his pilot's license at a young age and continued to fly privately throughout his life. Jerry was a recognized expert within the radio frequency communications industry as the owner of Olson 2-Way and Technical Systems manager at EMR, Corp. Jerry was a member of the Arizona Cloudbusters Flying Club.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lynn Olson of King City; children, Tiffany Conklin of Sacramento, Calif., Justin Olson of Reno, Nevada., Sean Olson and Annie Olson both of Lockwood, Calif.; grandchildren, Olivia and Grant Conklin of Sacramento, Calif., Allison Olson of Lockwood, Calif.; mother, Gladys Olson of Salinas, Calif.; and sister, Barbara DeVillar of Georgetown, Texas.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel.
