Obituary
Jeanne H. Cervantes, 90 of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Jeanne was born June 17, 1921 in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
GRAVESIDE INURNMENT:
A graveside inurnment is scheduled for 10am, Monday, May 21, 2012 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 2271 Seventh Avenue in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Jeanne was always very active. She enjoyed swimming and walking. She loved to walk on the beach and collect sea shells. Her creative nature allowed her to work with her hands doing craftwork with beads and creating miscellaneous items from natural resources like pine cones, rocks, flowers, leaves, feathers, etc. She would often sell her creations at craft shows. Jeanne was also a Bingo enthusiast. If there was a Bingo Night somewhere, you were sure to find Jeanne. But some of the times she cherished the most were the times she spent with family and friends.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Holly (John) Torres, Daniel (Angelina) Cervantes and Sherry (Terry) Santi; nine grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth and Geraldine; brother, George Hayden and grandson, Ronnie.
