We wish farewell to Jayne Isabel Donkin, beloved wife, mother of seven and friend to many. She passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her children.

Jayne was born in London, Ontario, Canada and was raised there with her brother.
She is truly blessed to have lived such a rich and full life. Her strong values and keen sense of humor guided her through everything life presented. She loved her family and, as a devout Catholic, always kept her faith in God.

Jayne loved the game of golf and bridge. She believed in community and gave generously of herself.
Jayne is survived by her children Isabel DiLaura, Lawrence O'Connor, Maura O'Connor, Ann Marie O'Connor (Vicki), Rosie Flynn (Tom), Mark O'Connor and Paul O'Connor (Patricia); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, Isabel and Ralph McPhillips; her two brothers, Kenneth and William McPhillips; Richard J. O'Connor (husband), Dr. Elbert Donkin (husband) and Jennifer Stafford (granddaughter).

Jayne will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Rosary service was held, 6 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Old Mission San Miguel Church. A Mass was celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 820 Creston Road, in Paso Robles. Following the mass, family and friends gathered to celebrate her life at the Parish Hall. Inurnment took place at the Paso Robles District Cemetery.
