Jacquelyn Kay Ketcherside, 74, of Templeton, California returned to the heavens on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Jacquelyn was born June 25, 1939 in Earlimart, California. She graduated from Delano High School.

Kay moved to Templeton in 1972. Kay was affectionately "Mom" to many in the small town of Templeton. She enjoyed country music, flowers, dogs, baking and was an exceptional cook. She always enjoyed going to her children's sporting events. Her favorite movie was "Gone with the Wind". She had a wonderful sense of humor and was referred to as "Mama Kay" by many of the staff at Danish Care.

Kay is survived by her children, Kim and wife Sonyia Ketcherside of Emmett, Idaho, Mike and wife, LuAnn Ketcherside of Paso Robles, Sherri Ketcherside of Paso Robles; grandkids, Dustin and wife, Nicola Ketcherside of Arkansas, Aleha and husband Eric Fountain of Arkansas, Jake Ketcherside and Manny Bailey of Paso Robles, Shawn and wife, Brandy Marquez of Emmett, Idaho; great grandkids, Jarett Fountain and Kaleb Ketcherside, Jordyn and Courtney Marquez; brother, James Camunes; sisters, Ginger Franks, Patricia Johnson and Deborah Waites of Bakersfield and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held, 12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in No. Kern Cemetery, Delano, Calif.
