Jose Jesus Ochoa Lemus, 97 of Soledad passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born, March 13, 1928 in Santana Mancera, Michoacan, Mexico.

He met his wife, Felicitas Ortiz in Calexico, Calif. and they have enjoyed 75 years of marriage.

Jesus enjoyed traveling and going to casinos, fixing his own cars and truck, playing guitar, singing and in his younger days, dancing. He always had his radio by his side. He also enjoyed gardening, caring for his flowers and fruit trees. He loved animals, especially birds. Jesus was always willing to help people and any favors asked of him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aurora and Esteban Ochoa; three brothers, Manuel, Alberto, Galdino; two sisters, Margarita and Vicenta and 4 month old daughter, Guadalupe Ochoa.

He is survived by his wife Felicitas; children, Maria (Robert) Gonzales, Rachel Ochoa, Amparo (Francisco) Pacheco, Sally (Mauro) Pacheco, and Mary Helen (Alberto) Flores, all of El Centro, Calif., Jesse (Sandy)Ochoa of Brawley, Calif., Angelina (Jose) Mata of Salinas, Calif.; Aurora (Jesus) Salazar of Soledad, Calif., and Juanita (Jose Luis) Alatorre of King City, Calif.; 31  grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A Visitation will be held from 4pm to 6pm, Thursday, April 3, 2025 with a Rosary Service starting, 6pm at Eddington Funeral Chapel, 429 Bassett St. in King City.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10am, Friday, April 4, 2025 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City.  Burial will follow in the King City Cemetery.
