Heriberto R. Trevino, 77 of King City passed away suddenly at Mee Memorial Hospital. Mr. Trevino was born April 6, 1936 in Cristales, Coahuila, Mexico.

He came to the United States with his family in search of a better life and employment. They lived in Del Rio, Texas and eventually landed in King City. He worked in agriculture for many years. It was there he met his future wife, Juanita Garcia. They were married in 1966. Together they had 4 children. Mr. Trevino enjoyed gardening, tinkering and barbequing. He loved to spend time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. Heriberto eventually went to work for Basic American Foods, Inc. where he retired as a Crew Leader. He enjoyed his retirement.

Mr. Trevino is survived by his wife, Juanita Trevino; sons, Heriberto (Selina) Trevino and Victor Trevino; daughter, Juanita Patty Trevino; grandchildren, Patricia Duran, Bethani Trevino, Dustin Trevino, Stefani Trevino, Julian Trevino and Ivana Trevino; father, Victor Trevino; brother, Juan Trevino; sisters, Ramona Trevino and Maria Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his son, Juan Trevino; mother, Josefa Trevino de Robles; sister, Hilda Moreno.

FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE PENDING:

A Visitation is scheduled 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22nd. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23rd. All services will be at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City. Burial will follow at King City Cemetery.
