Helen Mae Burpo, 96 of King City passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024. She was born June 5, 1928 in Crescent, Oklahoma. She attended King Fisher high school in Oklahoma.
She was married to Albert Ray Burpo for 73 years. Together they had two children, Jerry and Ed Burpo.
Helen worked in the King City Elementary School cafeteria and was in charge of the King City High School cafeteria for 15 years before retiring. She was responsible for preparing, cooking and serving lunches to the many students through the years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in King City. Her hobbies were her family.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Paulette) and Ed; grandchildren, Brian, Bryson (Alyson), Dawnell, Aliece, Kaylee, Kendyl, Devin, Maelynn, Cedrick, Kendrix, Matthew, Makenna, Macy, Natalie (Terry) and Gaylyn; great grandchildren, Kendrix Jr and Olivia; daughter-in-law, Donna; Nieces, Norma, Phyllis, Kathy, Trish, Susie, Linda, Lora, Joan and Aunt June (sister-in-Law).
SERVICE INFORMATION:
A Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Eddington Funeral Chapel, 429 Bassett St. in King City.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Eddington Funeral Chapel
Helen will be laid to rest beside her late husband, Al Burpo in the King City District Cemetery.
