Gonzalo Vazquez
Saucedo
March 11, 1957 – December 26, 2020
Gonzalo Vazquez Saucedo was given the beautiful gift of life on March 11, 1957 in Durango, Mexico. Gonzalo was raised in Mexicali, Mexico and came to King City 30 years ago with his family. Here in King City he met his beautiful wife Lilia Saucedo whom he was married to for 25 years. He worked for Casey Printing for 20 years and a janitorial company for 10 years. Gonzalo was devoted to his family, in particular his wife and grandchildren. He was a very talented man with music, he self-taught himself to play various instruments. Gonzalo loved to support his favorite soccer team El Santos De Torreon.
Gonzalo was an active member of the St. John's Catholic Church for more than 30 years. Using his love for music, he played instruments for the choir. He was also a strong supporter for the St. Jude Children's Hospital Organization.
Gonzalo is survived by his wife Lilia Saucedo, his parents Manuela Vazquez and Liborio Saucedo, his sisters Olga Alvarez, Belia Saucedo Vazquez, Graciela Saucedo Vazquez, Marcela Saucedo Vazquez, Gloria Saucedo Vazquez ✝, his children Alberto Soto Jr., Elizabeth S. Hernandez, David Soto, Lilia Perez, his grandchildren Clarissa Soto, Adrian Soto, Alejandro Hernandez, Andres Soto, Krystian Hernandez, Adriel Soto, Elizabeth Hernandez Jr, Gema Perez, and great granddaughter Myla Soto. Also, son-in-laws Leonel Hernandez, Erick Perez, and daughter-in-law Marisa Soto.
All services will be limited attendance:
A public visitation from 5pm to 6pm followed by a 6pm Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 am, Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. John's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery.
