Obituary

Georgia Ann was born in Lakenan, Missouri, on June 7, 1927, and passed away quietly on March 4, 2015. She joined her beloved husband, Leland Farnsworth Caudle and her sisters, Elizabeth McIntosh and Mary Ellen Hawley.

She was three years old when she, her mother, Edna Roberts and her father, George Roberts, moved to Los Angeles, California.

She met Leland Caudle when she was a teen, and they later married after World War II and settled in the San Fernando Valley on the GI Bill. She and Lee raised five children in the valley.

In those years, she was very active at St. Bridget of Sweden in Van Nuys. Soon after Lee's retirement from Pacific Bell, they left the valley to finally settle in Paso Robles in 1982, and finished raising their youngest daughter.

Georgia Ann was a wonderful seamstress, and needle work/craft enthusiast, and could bake a great pie! She shared her talents on many committees while at San Miguel's and Saint Rose's Church. Georgia Ann was always ready to support her family and friends. She loved camping and sunning at Carpinteria State Beach—it was her favorite vacation spot—with all of her family around her.

Georgia Ann will be remembered by her family of five children, Greg (Kathe) Caudle, Lorenda (Howard) Phillips, Kathleen (Peter) Kearney, John (Carolyn) Caudle, and Kimberly (John) Lahargou; her grandchildren, Trevor, Sarah, Matthew, Jason, Rory, Paul, Natalie, Sean, Corey, Tara, Lesli, Eric and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Cameron, Sierra, Justin, Sydney, Hagen, Lainey May, Leighland, Clementine, Billie Gene, Noah, Caden, Grace, and Augustino.

Donations to celebrate her memory may be sent to Old Mission San Miguel, 775 Mission Street, San Miguel, CA 93451.
