Froilan Barerra Gonzalez

Froilan Barerra Gonzalez, 91 of King City passed away, August 8, 2026 in King City at his home. He was born October 5, 1934 in Donna, Texas.

He was employed with Basic American Foods, Inc. for 37 years. He also worked as a handyman as a Brick Layer and Tile Cutter for many years.

Froilan enjoyed walking to the park, playing card games, telling jokes, visiting with family and friends, and his road trips to Texas. Froilan was a member of the First Baptist Church in King City.

He is survived by his wife, Marina Cruz Gonzalez; children, Jose Antonion Gonzalez, and Angelica Maria Gonzalez; brother, Juan “Charro” Barrera, and sister, Maria Elena Barerra. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Gonzalez, Crecensia Barerra, and sister, Dolores Bernal.

FUNERAL SERVICES:

A Funeral Service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2026 at the First Baptist Church, 450 King St., King City.  

Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery
