Obituary

Frieda L. Armer, 74 of San Lucas, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at her home with her family at her side. Frieda was born April 1, 1939 in Metalton, Arkansas. Her father was a Share Cropper and the family lived throughout Carroll County, Arkansas wherever the farm work would take them. They eventually moved to California.

Frieda met her future husband, Loyd Armer at the Star Café in Greenfield. Loyd asked her to go to the movies with him in Soledad one night and they were soon married in 1957. Together they moved to San Lucas in 1970 where Loyd had rebuilt what was to be their future home. They have lived in San Lucas ever since.

Frieda and Loyd had two children, Brenda and Bryan. Frieda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and growing flowers and interior decorating.

She is survived by her husband, Loyd Armer; children, Brenda Armer and Bryan Armer; granddaughter, Bristy Armer and step granddaughter, Tasia Mabe; brother, Raymond Thompson; sisters, Rita Keefer, Reba Thompson, Ila Gallagher and Marie Hanson.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21st at Eddington Funeral Services, 333 E. San Antonio Drive, King City.

A Graveside Service is "TENTATIVELY" scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 22nd at San Lucas District Cemetery.
