Frances Garnica Andrade, age 86, of Greenfield, went home to be with the Lord on July 21, 2012.

A VISITATION is scheduled 9am. – 10am., Thrusday, July 26, 2012, at St. John's Catholic Church, 503 N. Third St., King City, Calif.

A FUNERAL MASS is scheduled, 10am., Thursday, July 26, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, 503 N. Third St., King City, Calif.

Frances was born in Fillmore, CA on August 27, 1925 but spent most of her youth in Santa Barbara. In 1942 she moved with her family to King City where she lived until she moved back to Santa Barbara in 1960. In 1989 she moved to Greenfield where she lived until her death.

Frances was a woman devoted to her family. Her life revolved around an extensive network of brothers, sisters, cousins, and children as well as nieces and nephews, all whom she loved dearly. Her later years saw the addition of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the family. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family, especially traveling as she often did with her beloved nieces Martha Rogers, Antonia Mendoza, and Sara Zamudio. Frances was a woman full of surprise and spontaneity but was steady in her principles and her faith. She was a solid rock from which her family derived support. While they will miss her greatly they rejoice that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

Frances was preceded in death by her mother Antonia Manriquez Garnica, her father Alejo Garnica, her two brothers Ignacio Garnica and Agapito Garnica, her sister Helen Mendez, and her precious infant daughter Catherine Andrade.
