Evangelina "Sarita" Martínez Ayón, 87 of King City passed away on Thursday April 20, 2023.

She was born March 2, 1937 in Michoacan, Mexico.

"Sarita" as everyone knew her was a general laborer in Monterey Farming Co. and Meyer Tomatoes. She enjoyed gardening and was an active parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in King City.

Sarita is survived by her husband, Rodolfo Ayon; children, Barbara Martinez, Jose Martinez, Conrado Martinez,

Victoria Martinez and Edith Martinez,

15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Antonio and Benjamin; 2 sisters, Guadalupe and Luz.

Service Information:

A Visitation will start at 9am on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 followed by a 10am Rosary and Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church,

504 N. Third St. in King City. Sarita will be laid to rest in the King City District Cemetery.
