Emilia Garcia 87 of Greenfield, CA passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021. She was born In Paso Robles, CA on May 22 ^nd 1933 to parents Eugenio and Socorro Lopez.

Emilia lived in Paso Robles, CA until the age of 11 at which point the family moved to the California Orchard Company in Monterey County in 1944. She was married to the "Love of Her Life" Robert Garcia for 61 years.

Emilia was a devout Catholic and member of the Guadalupana Society for many years. She was also a member of St John's Catholic Parish where her children attended school. Emilia was also a member of Holy Trinity Parish in Greenfield where she participated in many church activities including fund raising.

Emilia enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, cooking for her family, word searches/crossword puzzles, praying the rosary and practicing her faith. Aside from being a great mother she loved helping people by offering advice and spiritual guidance.

Emilia started working at Basic Vegetables Co in King City in 1959. She was a Crew Leader in the Dehydration Department. While at Basic for 39 years she was a proud member of Teamsters Local 890 in Salinas, CA.

Emilia is survived by her son Steve Garcia (Eleanor Garcia), son Robert Garcia (Nena Garcia), daughter Yolanda Gonzalez (Victor Gonzalez). Brothers Frank Lopez, Paul Lopez, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and God children. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Eugenio and Socorro Lopez, her husband Robert Garcia, her son Arthur Garcia, her brothers, Eddie Lopez, Rudy Lopez and sister Rosie Bernal.

Service Information

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 6 ^th starting at 9am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Greenfield.

Emily will be laid to rest in Holy Trinity Cemetery following the funeral mass.
