Edward "Bud" Cyril Plaskett, 76 of King City passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Bud graduated from King City High School and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  He was a member of the King City Lions Club and the Pine Canyon Fire Department.

Bud is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ermalene Plaskett; children, Cherelle Plaskett (Louie Aguilar), Catherine Schilling, Gretchen Kuenzli (Shawn Kuenzli), Michelle Orradre (James), Steve Taylor (Lessa); brothers and sisters, Barbara Cozby, Silvia Ward, Patricia Hearne, Penny Barbree (Bill Barbree), Sam Plaskett, Kelly Harless (Dan Harless) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Eddington Funeral Chapel, 429 Bassett St., King City.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in the King City Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Orradre Building of the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division St., King City, CA.
