Dorothy Marie Hall, 87 of King City passed away, Monday, December 17, 2012.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES:
A Graveside service was held, 11am, Friday, December 21, 2012 at King City District Cemetery, King City.
Dorothy was born October 27, 1925 in Santa Paula, Calif. She came to South Monterey County at an early age. After WWII in 1949 she met Clifford Hall and they were soon married. They have lived in King City ever since. Together with her husband Clifford they owned and operated Hall's Chevron at 715 Broadway, King City until 1980. They also started Little Bear Water Company in the early 1960's.
Dorothy cherished her grandchildren and loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed leatherworking, crocheting, knitting and traveling in her motor home with Cliff in their retirement years.
Survivors include her daughter, Patty (Bob) McCoy, Janet Barnes; grandchildren, Patrick (Kelly) McCoy, Traci (Ryan) Huss, Tim (Lacy) McCoy, David (Tricia) Barnes, Christy (Mike) Larimore, Jim (Sylvia) Hall and Rick Hall; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Hall; son, Michael Hall and grandson, Kevin McCoy.
