Dewayne Buckner, 60 of Rio Dell, CA passed away on May 16, 2020 in San Francisco, Calif.  He was born February 2, 1960 in Fortuna, Calif.

He enjoyed wood working and motorcycles.  He was a member of the King City Van Club.  He was married 24 years and cherished his grandchildren.  Dewayne graduated from Gonzales High School in 1978.  He proudly was a member of the Rio Dell Fire Department for 16 years.  He spent many years driving trucks for Bob Duckworth, LA Hearne Co., Haba Cattle Trucking and Steve Wills Trucking.

Dewayne leaves behind his companion, Deborah Dobereiner; children, Jeremy and his wife Donna of Rio Dell, CA, John and his wife,  Lindsey of Fortuna, CA, Dewey and his wife Sarah of Salinas, CA, Jessica and her husband Gary of Hornbrook, CA; grandkids, Trevor, Tarah, Nate, Taylor, Benji, Quanah and Mauruk; parents, Garnett and Bobbie Buckner of Greenfield, CA; sister, Delene and her husband Travis of Greenfield, CA; nieces, Brandi and her husband Nick of East Carbon, UT, Stephanie and her husband David of San Jose, CA; aunts, Pauline of Rio Dell, CA, Brenda of Greenfield, CA, Sue of Las Vegas, NV; also many wonderful cousins.

Dewayne is preceded in death by his wife Eileen.

A Private Celebration of Life will take place.
