Cyril James Barbree born July 17, 1969, passed away on October 21, 2024, in an auto accident.

Cy is survived by his son Callan James Barbree, his parents, Bill and Penny Barbree, brother Hethe Barbree (Stefanie Bengard), sister Audrey Feliz (William Feliz), nephews Chase Barbree (Haylie), Clay Barbree, Caleb Feliz and niece Caroline Feliz, and great nephew Layton Barbree.  Cy was preceded in death by his brother Eric Barbree.

Cy went to King City High School where he excelled in sports.  After high school he played football at Shasta Junior College.

Cy enjoyed traveling, athletic competitions, reading, card playing and rides on the gator with Callan and his dog Murphy.

Cy was known as the life of the party with a giant personality.

The family cabin on Plaskett Ridge was his favorite place to visit.  Spending time there with family and all the cousins was something he thoroughly enjoyed.

If you knew Cy, you knew his favorite phrase, "You want a bet?"

Service Information:

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Eddington Funeral Chapel.

A Graveside Service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the Barbree Family Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life: Following the graveside the family asks that you join them as they gather at the family ranch where they will continue to pay tribute to Cy's Life.
