IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cole John
Twisselmann
June 14, 1995 – April 26, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cole Twisselmann, who left us far too soon. Born on June 14, 1995, to Leslie and Jason Twissleman, Cole was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend. His radiant spirit shone brightly, illuminating the lives of everyone around him with laughter, joy, and unwavering loyalty.
Cole was a passionate athlete and an avid hunter, embodying a zest for life that was infectious. He had a vibrant personality that drew people to him, whether he was on the field, in the woods, or enjoying time with family. His love for the outdoors was evident in the countless cherished moments he spent at his family's ranch in Gonzales and Lockwood. He created beautiful memories on the river in Arroyo Seco and reveled in the natural beauty of the Central Coast.
Despite the struggles he faced with addiction—a complex and cruel battle that cannot be fully understood—Cole was deeply loved by family and friends. His endearing qualities and the warmth he brought into our lives will forever be treasured. If love could have saved him, we would have held him tightly and shielded him from all harm.
Cole is survived by his loving mother, Leslie Tankersley; his father, Jason Twisselmann; his sister, Tiffany Stoke, and her husband, Eric; and their children, Hayden, Holly, Harper, and Hudson. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, and they will continue to honor his memory in their lives. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents who cherished him deeply, each with their own treasured memories of Cole.
As much as Cole loved to hunt, he had an equally profound love for animals. It was rare to see him without one of his beloved pets, Ruby or Simba, by his side. His gentle heart and ability to connect with the world around him reflected his caring nature.
As we remember Cole, let us not define him solely by his struggles, but instead celebrate the rambunctious and goofy boy who brought joy into our lives. His laughter will forever echo in our hearts.
Cole's life serves as a powerful reminder that addiction can affect anyone, regardless of how beloved they are. We encourage everyone to support one another, reach out, and hold loved ones a little closer.
Cole, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. We promise to carry your spirit forward and make you proud. Rest in peace, dear cousin. You are truly loved and missed, and your light will continue to shine in our memories. We hope you are up there now with Ruby and Simba, hunting the glorious plains of heaven.--
