Cleofas Castillo Gonzalez, 89 of Greenfield passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019 in King City with his family by his side. He was born, August 25, 1929 in Coalcoman, Michoacan, Mexico.

Cleofas loved his job as a ranch hand for the Mee Ranch and later for Bassetti Farms.  His favorite hobby was his garden with his many fruits and vegetables.  He loved Mariachi music and enjoyed traveling, especially to Mexico.

Cleofas is survived by his sons, Carlos Castillo (Shauna), Octavio Castillo (Maria Elena), Cleofas Castillo Jr. (Blanca); daughters, Teresa Flores (Mark), Elvira Castillo Fraire (Will), Marisela Mackey (Rex); 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Castillo.

A Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm followed by a 7pm Rosary service on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel, 429 Bassett St. in King City.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City.  Burial will follow in the King City District Cemetery.
