Celsa "Sunnie" Saenz-Headley passed away at 7:52 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 44 years of age. Born on May 20, 1976, she grew up in King City, CA and loved spending time in Southern California, namely Los Angeles.

Many, near and far, knew her as "Sunnie". Her family lovingly called her Cele, Stella or Mommie, and anyone who knew her, knew she was Wonder Woman.

When she wasn't goofing off and making others laugh, she liked listening to music, playing with her fur babies (Max and Khaleesi), swimming, tanning and shopping.

She spent the last 25+ years as a hairstylist and 14+ years as the radio personality, Lola Berlin, on KRKC. She spent her whole life accumulating friends everywhere she went!  Despite her own struggles, she always made time to help others and enjoyed it when someone left her feeling better about themselves.

Celsa was preceded in death by her older brother, David Saenz. She is survived by her parents, Manuel and Guillermina Saenz; sisters, Rose Moreno and Regina Bilsing; daughter, Chloe Thorp and numerous aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.

There is so much more about her that words cannot explain.  She will always be remembered for her wit, charm, contagious laughter, and so much more !

A virtual memorial will be held for family and close friends via Zoom.
