Catalina Esparza Torres, 62 of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.  She was born September 22, 1959 in Aguascaliente, Mexico.

Catalina's favorite pastime was her garden and chatting with family and friends.  She loved cheering on her grandbaby's baseball and football teams.  She never met a stranger she didn't call a friend.  She will always be remembered for her friendly personality.  She left behind so many "adopted grandbabies".  She ran the Fiesta City Cafe restaurant for many years.  Her customers became family.  She never lost her sense of humor up until the day of her passing.  She still wanted her stripper. J

She leaves behind her ex-spouse, Jesus Torres; her children, Mark and Elizabeth Torres; nephew and niece, Rafael Jimenes and Veronica Morphin; grandchildren, Alex Esparza, Daniel and Andres Espinoza, Kathryn and Matthew Torres, Myra Esparza and Mateo Morphin.

Service Information:

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St., King City.  Graveside inurnment will follow in the King City Cemetery.
