Carolyn E. (Rosario) Nelson, 83 of King City, CA passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on April 21, 2025.  She was born in California to James and Lucille Rosario.

Carolyn worked as a schoolteacher at Santa Lucia Elementary School for 32 years before she retired.  She taught first grade and kindergarten.

She met and married Harry Nelson in July of 1965. They were married 54 years before Harry passed away in 2019.  Harry and Carolyn have two children, Kim Cochran and Glen Nelson (Stef), three grandchildren, Danielle Duke (Austin), Hunter Cochran, and Tom Nelson (Breann) and one great grandson, Braxton Nelson

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Rosario, Lucille Rosario, and husband, Harry Nelson.

The family would like to express their gratitude and love to Joanne Cognina for her many years of love, support, and friendship.

A Rosary and Catholic Mass will be held, 10am, Monday, April 28, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City.  Carolyn will be laid to rest in King City Cemetery.
