Carol Ann (Becker) Krehbiel was born in Freeport, Illinois on August 25, 1935 to Carroll OM Becker and Lucille Catherine Berg. Carol was the oldest of two children.

In 1949, Carol and her family moved from Illinois to Cupertino, California where she lived until she left home. After high school she began her studies to become a registered nurse. It was through a classmate who happened to be Bob's cousin, suggested that Carol meet Bob. Bob was Robert Krehbiel. He became her husband of 64 years.

Bob and Carol had two children and in 1967 moved to King City where she resided until her death. Carol, known to her family as "Ann" or "Aunt Ann", loved daisies, gardening (her Sweet Peas were the best), music and the great outdoors. She was the perfect match for Bob and spent most of her married life camping and fishing beside him.

She was a compassionate, caring person and her nursing career fit her well. She worked for many local doctors and the Hacienda. She even spent a few years teaching nursing as an ROP class at KCHS. Many of her students went on to have successful careers in the nursing profession.

In her later years she helped pastor alongside her husband at the Community Church of King City, leading worship and teaching Sunday school. Carol loved Jesus.

Carol is preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband, Robert B Krehbiel, her sister, Susan Derr, her daughter, Karen (Krehbiel) Serritelli, her son, Robert B Krehbiel, and her 5 grandchildren; John A Serritelli, Matthew R Krehbiel, Sean M Serritelli, Katherine (Serritelli) Zelaya and Michael R Krehbiel. She had 8 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Eddington Funeral Services Chapel, 429 Bassett St. in King City.
