Obituary
Betty passed away at 87 years of age in Salinas on October 30th 2013. She had lived the last 3 years of her life at her daughter's home in King City.
Betty was born in Salinas May 19th, 1926 to Grace Trusdale Kelly and Arthur Elmer Kelly. She attended local schools, graduating from Salinas High with the class of 1944. Soon after graduation, she met a young Marine "Johnnie" who had just returned home at the end of World War II. Betty and John Phillip Adcock married in 1946. They were Married for 55 years until Johnnie's death in 2000.
The Union of John and Betty resulted in the births of two daughters; Kellieann McClaran of Glide, Oregon and Carol Anthony of King City, Calif.
Grandchildren from Kellieann are Alicia McClaran Garcia of Salinas and Alex (Toni) McClaran of Bend Oregon. Grandchildren from Carol are Matt (Roselyn) Anthony of King City and Paul (Trina) Anthony of Lockwood. Betty's family also includes 10 great grandchildren and 2 great---great grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her best, life long friend, Adelaide "Butch" Kerns of Salinas. Her beloved 4 legged friend "Muggins" the beagle, died recently at the age of 12.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
