Armida Maria (Bresciani) Rolandi, 83, passed away at home surrounded by her sons and family on November 6, 2012.

Armida was born in Gordevio, Switzerland on January 9, 1929.
She was a loving wife and homemaker in Greenfield. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and countless of friends to whom she offered her help and love. She especially enjoyed the many trips to Switzerland, visiting family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Donald (Mary) and Danny (Cindi) Rolandi of Salinas and Dennis, of Greenfield, brothers Walter Bresciani of Soledad and Giorgio Bresciani of Gordevio, Switzerland and sister Noemi Leoni of Gordevio, Switzerland; Grandsons Bobby Rolandi of San Diego, Gordon Breschini of Ventura, Ross Gutierrez of Santa Clara and Ralph Garcia III of Salinas; Granddaughters Shelley Rolandi and Vickie Garcia, both of Salinas. She also leaves 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces of Salinas and Switzerland.

She was a member of King and Queens Club in King City, Swiss American Club and Greenfield Catholic Alter Society.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Rolandi; brother, Renato Bresciani and Sister Anita Hartman both of Gordevio, Switzerland.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Coast VNA/Hospice, 5 Lower Ragsdale Drive in Monterey or the American Lung Association, 550 Camino El Estero in Monterey.

A VISITATION was held on Sunday November 11th 2-4pm at the Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield, with A ROSARY Recital immediately following. A FUNERAL MASS was held at Holy Trinity Church on Monday November 12th at 10am, with burial at the Soledad District Cemetery.
