Ariel Marcelo Villanueva, 21 of King City died, Thursday, June 28, 2012. Known by most as Marcelo "Bola" Villanueva, he was born May 21, 1991 in King City to Marco Antonio Villanueva and Natividad Villanueva.
He attended King City schools. He attended and graduated from the Grizzly Academy in San Luis Obispo. There he learned discipline and how to be a leader. He was strong on decision making. He would accomplish whatever he set his mind on to do.
He has been described as an ethical hard working, ambitious, responsible, respectful, funny, courageous, gregarious, funny, easy going yet opinionated and tenacious individual. He had a great big heart, a sense of humor and he was very polite and caring. He was a go getter. He had great family values. He cared for his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family and always put his family first. Regardless of all the ups and downs he experienced in his life, he always managed to get thru them and keep a smile on his face.
Ariel is survived by his parents, Marco Antonio Villanueva and Natividad Villanueva, his brother, extended cousins, friends and loved ones.
A visitation was held, Monday, July 2, 2012 followed by a Rosary. A Funeral Mass a was held, Tuesday, July 3, 2012. All services took place at St. John's Catholic Church, King City, Calif. Ariel's body was laid to rest in King City District Cemetery.
