Ms. Annie G. Moreno, 73 of Greenfield passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side. Annie was born March 5, 1942 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

She loved reading mystery and thriller books and watching movies. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and going to the casino. She proudly served two terms with the Greenfield City Council. She was employed as a Monterey County employee for 27 years.

Annie was a very active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was very involved in her community having participated in several agencies and organizations within the Greenfield community.

Annie is survived by her longtime partner of 25 years, Leopoldo Raul Corona. She is also survived by her sons, Jesus Moreno, wife, Leticia and Salvador "Art" Lorenzana and his wife Carmen; seven grandsons; one granddaughter and one great grandson; four sisters, two brothers and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to give special thanks to VNA Hospice, Dr. James Lew of Prime Care and Dr. John F. Rinderknecht of Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A VISITAION will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Eddington Funeral Services, 333 E. San Antonio Drive in King City.

A RECITATION OF THE ROSARY will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 803 Elm Ave., Greenfield.

A FUNERAL MASS will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015.

BURIAL will follow at King City District Cemetery.
