Lifelong King City resident, Annie Marie Garcia passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at the age of 87.  She was born September 18, 1936 in King City.

Annie enjoyed walking, traveling, quilting, and working in the yard.  She was married 57 years to Phil Garcia.  She worked at A.G. Andrus Pharmacy, Freemans Department Store and retired from Wells Fargo Bank.

Annie was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; member of Silver Kings and Queens, and a volunteer for the Mee Memorial Service League.

Annie is survived by her sister, Loraine Goshorn of King City and brother, John Garner of Salinas; numerous nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Phil; sister, Joan Craig; brothers, Robert Garner, Julius F. Garner, James J. Garner, and Raymond Garner.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held, 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic  Church, 504 N. Third St., King City.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2024, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Annie will be laid to rest with her husband Phil in the King City District Cemetery following the mass.
