IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Angustia Chavez
- Flores
May 28, 1948 – January 21, 2021
On January 21st, 2021 Angustia "Mary" Chavez Flores died at the hospital. She was a resident of King City, California.
She was born on May 28, 1948 in Jamaica, Michoacán, Mexico. Angustia moved from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to King City, California in 1997 to be close to her children and her siblings.
Some of her favorite hobbies were to cook, bake, and spend time with her family and friends. Angustia was a very loving daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an agriculture worker who enjoyed her job. She was a hard worker who would be the first at work, she even had two jobs. And after a long day at work she would get home and keep going with the home chores.
She was an old fashioned woman who was energetic, intelligent, and elegant. The most beautiful quality that she had was that she enjoyed life; even when life wasn't perfect or had the best circumstances. During her battle with cancer, she fought as a true warrior until the end. She had faith in God's promise that He will wipe every tear and end with all illnesses that make us suffer.
On February 28th of 2009 she married Luis M. Valladarez, he was at her side and a great moral support during her battle until the end, as a husband should be. She was grateful to find a loving man like Luis.
Angustia is survived by her loving husband Luis M. Valladarez, five children from a previous marriage: Fidelamar Chavez, Juan Manuel Chavez, Rocio Chavez, Hugo Chavez, and Fredy B. Chavez. Grandchildren: Jorge E. Rivas, Jessica J. Chavez, Nuvia R. Chavez, Sergio A. Rivas, Hugo Chavez Jr, Angelenrique Chavez, Leonardo Chavez, Erik Chavez, Alex Oliveros-Chavez, Bella C. Chavez. Mother Esperanza Flores Hernandez, Sisters: Trino Chavez, Maria Chavez, Guadalupe Chavez, Adalberto Chavez, Teresa Chavez, Ramon Chavez, Fidadelfo Chavez, Liduvina Chavez, Fabiola Chavez, Rosario Chavez; nieces and nephews, and five great-grandchildren.
The family Chavez and Valladarez thank you all, family and friends for all your moral support and shows of affection. We already had a service through Zoom for our dear mother and wife.
