Andrew Joseph Leavitt, born January 21, 1968, a resident of Marina, CA entered eternal life on November 19, 2022.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Angela Leavitt and son, Cameron Leavitt. Additionally, he is survived by his parents Avril Lorraine, Joseph Lasher and his sister, Heather Lasher.  He was Uncle Andrew to Josh, Hayley and Madison.  Andrew was preceded in death by his brother, David Leavitt.

Andrew was born in South Africa where he lived until the age of 5, his family then relocated to San Diego and later to the Bay Area.  He attended high school at Independence High School in San Jose where he was a star wrestler.  After high school, Andrew immediately began his career as an Engineer, working at the Embassy Suites in Milpitas and the Hotel De Anza in San Jose.

While working at the Hotel De Anza Andrew met the love of his life, Angela.  They married on October 25, 1997 and moved to the Monterey Peninsula for Andrew to work at the Embassy Suites in Seaside.  A year later their son, Cameron, was born.  Andrew began work at the Monterey Marriott in 2005 where he was the Director of Engineering and Loss Prevention.

Andrew loved riding his motorcycle, camping and fishing and spending quality time with his wife, Angela.  Andrew was an amazing husband, father, brother, friend and co-worker to many.  He touched so many lives in his 54 years and will be missed terribly by anyone who was touched by his genuine kindness.

In remembrance of Andrew, we ask that donations be made to the American Heart Association, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or charity of your choice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
