Obituary

Albert Miranda, 87 of King City passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at his home. Albert was born June 13, 1927 just out of Soledad, California.

Albert graduated from King City Joint Union High School in 1946. He entered the US Army in 1946. His tour of duty took him to Korea. He received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Corporal in 1951.
Albert returned to King City and has lived here ever since. He worked for the Monterey County Public Works Department for 45 years. He was a parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church.

Albert enjoyed going to garage sales, going to movies and going on casino trips. He had a passion for cars. He always kept his cars in pristine condition. He also had a love for yard ornaments always displaying them in his front yard. Albert was a generous man. He was always willing to help people.

He is survived by his sister, Angie Perez and brother, Tony (Mona) Miranda; also numerous nieces and nephews.

SERVICE INFORMATION:

A Recitation of the Rosary followed by a Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City.

Graveside committal with military honors will follow the mass at King City District Cemetery.
