Alan Francis Dedini, 67 of King City passed away on December 21, 2024 in Monterey at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.

Alan was born September 13, 1957 in Monterey, CA and grew up in King City, graduating from King City High School.  He worked as a welder, fabricator for many years and owned a sign business for several years before retirement.

Alan loved watching Gunsmoke, talking about his grandchildren's FFA pigs and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He attended Full Gospel church when he was younger.  He enjoyed people at a distance.

He is survived by his daughter, Jodi Dewey and Husband Gerrod Dewey of Hollister; grandkids, Noah Dewey of Hollister, Jadeynn Dewey and Fiancé Bryce Brewer of Aptos, Dylan Alburger, Joshua Silva, Austin Silva & Wife Robynlynn all of King City; son, Kasen Dedini of King City; sisters, Arlene Dedini & Partner Susan of California, Chris Wilson and Husband Travis of Virginia; brother, Vincent Scott & Wife Lisa of Virginia; nieces and nephews, Jamie and Rammy Morrison, Kelly & Jeff Doughty, Jill Stanford, Bobbie Pura, and Grant Wilson, and several great nieces and nephews.

Alan is preceded in death by his mother, Winona Dedini and father, Delwin Dedini and the parents who blessed him with life, Murial P. Scott and William T. Rockwell.

SERVICE INFORMATION

A Visitation will be held at Eddington Funeral Chapel, starting at 11am, Saturday, January 4, 2024.

A Funeral Service will follow at 1pm at Eddington Funeral Chapel.

Burial will take place at another date.
