Abel Ruben Vasquez, 37 of King City passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.  He was born May 11, 1980 in King City and was a lifelong resident.

Abel was a devoted father and he loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed football and loved the San Francisco 49ers.  Music was his relaxation.  He loved throwing BBQ's, family nights, playing games and watching movies.  He truly had a heart of gold.  He attended King City high School and also attended Silicon Valley College.

Abel is survived by his children, Vincent Vasquez, Izaak (Joaquin) Vasquez, Ivan (Quentin) Vasquez and Daisy I. Vasquez; his mother, Virginia Quintana; sisters, Linda Vasquez, Laura Quintana, Elizabeth Quintana; brothers, Gabriel Vasquez and Victor Quintana.

The family would like to thank everyone who was touched by Abel.  His family and friends meant the world to him.  A very special thank you to Pastor David Irwin; who made a positive effect on Abel and his family.

A visitation at St. John's Catholic Church, 504 N. Third St. in King City is scheduled for Monday, September 18 ^th , from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  A Recitation of the Rosary will be held, 7:00 p.m. at at St. John's Catholic Church.   A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., at St. John's Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 19 ^th .  Burial will follow in King City District Cemetery.
