Angie Charles Mann, 74 of King City passed away, Sunday, August 5, 2012. Mr. Mann was better known as "A.C.".
SERVICE INFORMATION:
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held, 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at King City District Cemetery.
He was born in the township of Hickory Ridge in Phillips County, Arkansas. He came to California in 1951. He joined the US Navy and served from 1957 to 1961. He lived the majority of his life in and around the King City area.
A.C. owned and operated Shell Gas Stations in San Ardo and Greenfield. He was one of the most skilled, trusted tire alignment specialists in South Monterey and San Benito Counties. We like to say he was the "Best".
A.C. enjoyed playing pinochle, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He was an avid gun collector and he enjoyed "Good Ole" Country music. A favorite pastime was watching western and war movies on DVD's. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He really liked drinking strong, hot cups of coffee and smoking his cigarettes.
A.C. is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Suzie and Chris Nelson and granddaughter Allie; brother, James Mann; sisters, Lucille Ford, Charlene Silva, Louise Galliher and Edna Dickerson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Mary Mann, his brothers Kenneth, Lawrence and Larry Joe; his sister, Elase; and his son, Tim Mann.
The family would like to thank Dr. Roberto Tongson and the ICU staff at Mee Memorial Hospital for the superb care they gave him. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at King City District Cemetery.
