Erika Monique Montoya, 23 of King City passed away February 17, 2013 at her home. Born in King City September 7, 1989 to Jose Montoya, Jr. and Cecilia Cervantes.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially with her daughter, Gemma.

Erika is survived by her parents; her daughter, Gemma Hearrt Garcia; grandmother, Francisca Montoya; brothers, Ramon Montoya III, Christopher Montoya; sister, Kayla Montoya; step-brothers, Martin Chavez, Julian Chavez, Chuck Pina; step-sisters, Samantha Sanchez, Kayla Pina, Christina Pina; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation and Rosary services were held, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church. Erika was laid to rest in King City District Cemetery.
